The VECTOR Revolution 180 is a unique solution for contour edgebanding which just makes sense.
The patented Revolution process is controlled by a PLC with a simple and intuitive colour interface.
No complex programming, no time consuming set up and no issues of interfacing with existing machining centres. The VECTOR Revolution 180 concept is ideal because it fits easily with traditional component manufacturing methods as well as nested based manufacturing
The operator essentially only needs to think about how to place the panel on the machine. By reading table markings, a start position is saved into the PLC controller (with simple planning, it is possible to use the same start position for many different shaped panels, often resulting in no set-up changes at all 
SIMULTANEOUS PROCESSING
The VECTOR Revolution 180 is the first Contour Edgebander to adopt “Simultaneous Processing” where all functions (feeding, gluing, taping, trimming and surface scraping) are performed simultaneously rather than sequentially. In addition, because the machining centre is separate, it can be producing components while the VECTOR Revolution 180 is still running dramatically increasing flexibility and output.
PLC CONTROL
The VECTOR Revolution 180 uses a PLC for control with a control console which can be easily moved by the operator to make for ease of loading and unloading the machine. The PLC enables common settings for product types (such as glue temperatures, start and park positions) to be saved. Short runs and changing product shapes and sizes has never been quicker or easier.
SIDEWINDER TRIMMER UNIT
The VECTOR Revolution 180 uses a clever suspension mechanism to control the trimmer and (optional) surface scraper. The flat blade scraper removes any surface glue as well as trimming excess caused by variations in panel flatness. As with the trimming and glue units, the scraper can be turned on or off from the control panel. Also available are optional diamond cutter heads.
NOZZLE GLUE SYSTEM
The VECTOR Revolution 180 uses a cartridge and nozzle glue system which precisely controls the glue onto the tape (matching the width of the panel) so the off-cut top and bottom is glue free for perfect trimming. A wiper blade cleans the nozzle prior to each cycle ensuring the leading edge of the tape is free of glue for perfect butt joins.
LARGE FIELD SIZE
The VECTOR Revolution 180 is equipped as standard with a large field size enabling 1830mm in the Y direction and 3500mm in X. This, matched with the flat work-surface allows vacuum cups to be positioned very flexibly for very large components as well as allowing pendulum operation for maximum output.
